How is GEO+ (Generative Engine Optimization) under the Premium plan different from standard PR?
GEO+ includes everything in the Standard plan, plus GEO-focused content designed to help generative AI recognize your brand as a trusted source.
Alongside media-ready articles, we create structured newsroom content designed to help AI algorithms understand and cite your brand—extending your visibility beyond traditional search.
How does the Basic Plan’s “one project per month” work?
The Basic plan is designed for early-stage companies that want to focus their PR efforts around key moments rather than maintain an ongoing media activity.
Instead of spreading a fixed monthly retainer across everything, we focus on securing essential coverage around your company’s key milestones—product launches, funding rounds, and major business results.
Based on your priorities and upcoming milestones, we recommend the right approach—from press release development and distribution to feature story and executive interview pitching—so you can make the most of your PR resources.
Can we still do PR without a major announcement like funding or a product launch?
Yes, absolutely. Strong PR material isn't limited to product launches or funding news.
Customer case studies, usage data, market shifts, the technical expertise your team has built, your founder's industry outlook, company culture, and growth milestones can all be newsworthy. LinkUp Partners digs into the data and experience already sitting inside your company and shapes it into press releases, feature stories, interviews, and trend reports.
That said, credible content needs to be grounded in verifiable facts, data, and customer examples that can be publicly shared.
What's the difference between a press release, a feature story, and an executive interview?
A press release is best for quickly and accurately announcing new developments, such as product launches, funding, contracts, and partnerships.
A feature story connects your business to broader market or industry trends to demonstrate expertise and differentiation. An executive interview shares your founding story, leadership philosophy, and vision for the industry, building credibility for both the company and its leadership.
Linkup Partners assesses your goals and available material to strategically combine all three formats.
Does hiring a PR agency guarantee coverage in the outlets we want?
Traditional media relations operates on an earned media basis, meaning each outlet decides what is newsworthy and what gets published. As a result, no agency can guarantee coverage in a specific outlet.
Rather than simply distributing your message, LinkUp Partners identifies newsworthy angles and data that resonate with journalists and readers, then tailors each pitch to the outlet. We focus less on the number of placements and more on securing credible coverage that accurately communicates your key messages.
Paid or sponsored content can be discussed separately from standard media relations, on a case-by-case basis.
When does PR start to show results, and how do you measure success?
Unlike advertising, PR isn't about measuring immediate conversions — it's a cumulative process of building your company's message and credibility over time.
We start by defining your positioning and core messaging, then build search visibility and media references through press releases, feature stories, and interviews. While individual news can gain traction quickly, building lasting brand awareness and market presence typically takes 3–6 months of consistent effort.
We measure success holistically — not just article count, but coverage in target outlets, key message pull-through, changes in search results, inbound inquiries and partnership opportunities, founder visibility, and whether your brand is being mentioned and cited in AI search.
How is GEO different from SEO, and how do you approach AI search?
SEO focuses on improving your visibility in search engine results. GEO focuses on helping generative AI accurately understand your company and cite your brand as a source in AI-generated answers.
This requires a foundation of credible media coverage, consistent company information, content that directly answers relevant questions, a structured newsroom, and ongoing monitoring and refinement of AI search mentions and citations.
